Quilt

I made a quilt with my mummy and we took pictures in a field. It took 2 years to make. In this picture I am pointing to one of my fave bits, Hedgehogs.

In this picture i am pointing to my other fave one, patterns. It is really cosy at night. I am really happy that I made it. :) :)

Eagle and Egg Go to the Park

Eagle and Egg go to the park
Eagle and Egg are brothers. Eagle is 7 and Egg is 3.
"Let's go to the park Egg" said Eagle.
"Yes please" said Egg looking exited. "Can we go to Cutslow park?"
"O.k"replied Eagle.
Eagle and Egg ran out to catch the bus. The bus took them to Cutslow park and Egg ran inside.
"Slow down Egg" shouted Eagle.
"Why?" said Egg.
"Because you might get lost" Replied Eagle.
Egg came running over and stayed with Eagle. The boys went to feed the ducks in the pond.
"I'm bored can we play on the new playground?" asked Egg after 10 minutes with the ducks.
"O.k" replied Eagle.
Eagle and Egg run towards the new playground. Egg goes to the sand and Eagle goes to the zip wire.
Egg was digging a really big hole when Eagle ran over.
"Egg can we go to the other playground?" he asked.
"O.k" said Egg
The boys raced to the other playground and Eagle won.
"I'm going to the swings" said Egg
"I'm going to the wooden slide" said Eagle
After half an hour there Eagle said
"It's time to go home Egg"
"O.k" said Egg looking disappointed but he went.
They caught the bus home and when they got home Pip their puppy was waiting for them.
"That was a big day" said Eagle
"Yes" said Egg.

                                 I did drawing using a projector. You have to put a picture in and it will show so you                                        can draw. The New Puppy

This is my monthly story:

                                                   The new puppy
Once upon a time there were two little boys called Eagle and Egg. Eagle was 7 and Egg was 3. One day they were playing with a ball and Egg said:
"hey, why don't we get a puppy"
"oh yes" said Eagle
So Eagle and Egg went to a farm with puppies for sale. They were English Springer Spaniels.
"Let's get this one" said Eagle.
"O.k" said Egg.
So they  bought it and brought it home. When they got home they figured that it was a girl so they called it Pip. The boys went to the pet store with a list. Here is what they were going to buy:

1 bone
2 balls
1 bed
1 bag of dog food
2 packs of mess bags
1 tube of dog tooth paste (liver flavor)
1 dog tooth brush
1 tub of dog treats
1 collar (saying Pip)
1 lead

It was a big list and it was a lot of money. As soon as they got home they went to play with Pip.
"she is so cute" said Egg.
" oh yes" said Eagle.

Kale Chips and Lentil and Chipotle Soup

One of the summer challenges that I set for myself is to try new food.

My mummy decided to make kale chips using olive oil, sea salt and celery salt.

Normally our dog hoovers up dropped food on the floor, but she didn't like the salty kale.

At first I liked the kale but at the end I decided it was too salty. Maybe it needed to be mixed better.

I helped make the soup but I didn't really like it, but Mummy and Daddy did. If you would like to find the recipe you can find it here:
